Hey friend,
How did last week go for you? Hopefully, you got some rest and recharged because this week, we need to talk about something super important—consistency.
If you’ve been sticking with this week by week, you should be seeing some progress. But if you’re not? Well, it probably comes down to inconsistency. And trust me, I’m not judging—I’ve been there too. If you’ve ever started a weight loss journey and felt like you “failed,” it wasn’t because the plan didn’t work. It was because sticking with it long enough was the hard part.
So, what do we do about it?
Start Again & Keep It Simple
I don’t know about you, but I get overwhelmed when I think about all the different ways to lose weight. There’s always some new diet or workout plan, and everyone swears their way is the best. And when I feel like there’s too much coming at me, my first instinct is to shut down. That’s exactly what I used to do—I’d quit before I even gave myself a real chance.
But what I’ve learned is that it’s not about finding the perfect plan. It’s about sticking to something long enough to see results.
Small Wins Add Up
This whole journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about making small choices every day that push us in the right direction. Even if the day gets crazy, there’s always something we can do:
- Drink water—literally the easiest thing to do for yourself.
- Go for a walk—even if you don’t hit 10,000 steps, every step counts.
- Keep trying—if you had a rough week, redo it and keep moving forward.
You’re in Control
If you’ve fallen off track, don’t stress—just start again. No need to overthink it. Go back to Week One if you need to or repeat whatever challenge you struggled with. The only thing standing between you and your goals is you.
So this week, let’s focus on just showing up. Stick with the plan, push through the tough days, and keep proving to yourself that you can do this. Because you can.
We’re in this together—let’s go!
