Summer Is Here… So How Are We Feeling?

Hey friends!

Yesterday officially marked the first day of summer—can you believe it? We’ve made it through spring, and now the sun is out, the days are longer, and that whole “hot girl summer” thing is in full swing. Or maybe you’ve been hearing “hot guy summer” lately. Either way, it’s everywhere. But here’s a question I’ve been asking myself…

What does that actually mean?

Is it just about how we look in a swimsuit or how flat our stomach is by the time we hit June? Or does it have more to do with how we feel?

Personally, I’m going with how we feel.

Because let’s be honest, we’ve spent the last few months grinding—making better food choices, walking more, drinking our water, stretching, trying new challenges each week—and that is no small feat. We’ve created healthier habits that are setting us up for long-term success, not just a “summer body.”

And that’s what really matters.

So ask yourself:
➡️ Have I made changes that make me feel better in my body?
➡️ Do I have more energy now than I did at the start of this year?
➡️ Am I learning to be kinder to myself and more consistent with my choices?

If the answer is yes to even one of those questions—then guess what? You’re already having your “hot girl/guy summer.”

This journey has never been about perfection—it’s been about progress. And if you’ve made progress in your mental health, your physical health, or even your mindset about how you approach your wellness goals, then you should absolutely be proud of where you are right now.

So let’s take a moment to celebrate that.

Even if you’re still on your way to hitting your bigger goals, that’s okay! Keep going. Let this summer be about enjoying the journey, being present in your body, and appreciating every step that has gotten you to this point.

Let’s keep showing up for ourselves. Let’s laugh more, walk a little more, eat things that fuel us and taste good, and surround ourselves with the people and activities that make us feel our best.

This is your summer—own it, enjoy it, and keep moving forward.

You’ve got this!
